Bedrock is still missing Subtitles

How long is Bedrock going to continue to be inaccessible to hard-of-hearing & deaf players? It should be considered unacceptable how long this edition has been missing this basic accessibility feature.

Java has had subtitles for 8 years now, they were added in 1.9. Please, please consider focusing on adding subtitles to Bedrock.

    I recently bought the game again on switch and it's honestly really frustrating trying to play the game without subtitles/captions.

    I cannot hear the mobs, so there's no way for me to avoid taking damage from them unless I see them before they see me.

    I don't think I would have bothered buying it if I had realised beforehand that they were unavailable on bedrock. I (unfortunately incorrectly) assumed they would be there, as they are in java.

    I found this page searching for how to enable them, and all I've found is years worth of people asking over and over for subtitles to no avail.

    It's honestly really disappointing.

    This is an accessibility oversight of epic proportions. There is no excuse after all these years.

    Please add Closed Captions/Transcript as an accessability feature.

    I'm hard of earing and need to use hearing aids to be able to hold conversations and/or watch tv. I often cannot hear mobs, especially if I'm playing the game in a room where there is background noise.
