Make the bat useful

Minecraft is constantly evolving, and still we don't have an end update, but i just had some ideas that could be cool for an update

I was playing minecraft and while i was in a cave i noticed a bat, it was useless, so why not make it useful?

Make it drop it's wing for new potion recipes, meat, make them lead you somewhere, just make the bat useful.
