Mojang has probably gotten more than enough flack for their lack of agency when it comes to updating the game; the restrictions mob votes put on the game, old biomes and mobs no longer alluring players.
That said, WHAT ARE YOU DOING MOJANG
Take the first mob vote, you produce a some fine ideas, tell everybody, and then just throw it away. There could've been strong bearings in proceeding updates, such as mobA for the ocean, and mobD for the nether, but they were instead scrapped.
I don't care how it's recieved when I say that the iceloger was obviously set up to be the winner of the 2020 mob vote. It was a NEW ILLAGER in the NEW MOUNTAIN biome with EPIC ATTACKS and DROPS.. vs a "glowing" squid and just another prop for the bee mob. A CERTAIN SOMEBODY would manipulate the vote, players all let down. Having said all that, the glowsquid has features worth welcoming, and I'm sure the cow would be the same.
I mention all this because I'd like for all of these features to be implemented at some point. They are all good ideas, and I think the scope of the game is restricted by exposing so many ideas, only to announce fireflies, y, and z aren't happening.
The new armadillo is pretty cute, although it feels kind of random- the only use for scutes being dog armor. ArmidilloMaster pot? cat armor? That and also it has durability whereas horse armor doesn't, please cohere that. But because the crab loses, it seems we don't get EXTRA REACH for building, it would be a time-saving revolution.
