Wandering Trader, Special Items

In reality a wandering trader would have "special deals" for the more discriminating player. Currently the wandering trader usually has "low-value" unwanted items, once a player gets further along in achievements. Why even have a wandering trader offering things like a corral block, or a lily pad?  
A more realistic trader would have a "special item" that is very valuable tucked away for just that right trade.  Maybe for five diamonds and 32 bars of gold... a player could say buy an enchanted item or a special crafting table. 
A wondering trader would be the type of person that might say, "Hey Buddy, want to buy a watch?"
Randomized special items would be more incentive to interact with the wandering trader... instead of just killing his llamas for their hides. :-O

    anything would be better than the current trades, I usually kill the llamas too. like bro you want a shiny gemstone and youll give me a flower
