What happened to tinkering?

I am a big fan of the 1.21 update, but I must admit that I got excited about the Redstone sub theme of the update, so I got very dissapointed when I found they only added 2 Redstone features with one of them having a tick delay nerf that drastically debuffs it functionality, and makes the copper bulb not a very notable feature in my eyes. I believe they have barely added anything along the tinkering theme of this update other than the data pack changes and enchantment data stuff, which I openly refuse to consider as I am not near technical enough to know how to or even want to know how to tinker with. We would like more Redstone stuff please. Tricky trials update needs some flavor before it finally releases.

  The Copper Golem and/or Tuff Golem would have fit the tinkering theme pretty well. Sadly Mojang said no. :(

  Missed opportunity to make the Craft use copper in its recipe... It just uses iron like every other redstone thing.
