get mods straight from files

I want to be able to go to Minecraft and have a button that opens my files to where I can upload them 

since I'm on Lenovo Chromebook and I have Minecraft I wanted to upload mods to Minecraft but they save in my files and I cant upload them to Minecraft could you possibly help a brother out and do something for us?

PS I have loved Minecraft since that old tutorial map with the giant Minecraft sign maybe remake or remix it with some other stuff people would love it
