I am writing this letter because there are big problems with the balance of fighting in the game. See for yourself:
from the beginning we easily get a sword for 4 damage, then all upgrade, more and more difficult, eventually getting a difference of one damage. After many hours of play, and digging netherite get the best sword in the game (without enchantments), and it is stronger than the initial just twice. But with enchantments can be done differently, take an iron sword, enchant it to a sharpness of 3 with repair, and behold, you do not even need diamonds! If you enchant it for fire, it's better than netherite! Anyway, here's the idea:
Swords up to iron sword will have no sweeping, starting with diamond sword the strikes per second will reach 1.7 instead of 1.6. On the non-golden sword, you can either extend the limit of some enchantments, or give it a chance to bleed, etc.
And the same can be done with axes, rebalance to reduce the damage of wooden and stone axes by one unit, and that diamond does all 10 damage.
I think it would be a good balance solution.
