So I always have this issue where if I forget to bring wood in The End I'll have to fly all the way back to spawn and waste a bunch of time. My solution is simple and wouldn't change anything in a major way: Make the Chorus Fruit Stems into their own wood type! Imagine this, the actual structure/plant doesn't change visually, but mining part of the stem gives you the, well, a Chorus Stem item. Putting 4 of them into a 2x2 square will give you 2 Chorus Planks (a nice lavender-ish colored wood). That would fix the problem of The End having no unique wood types, it's simple, wont completely restructure The End, and feels like a natural feature to have in the game, kinda like how Bamboo got its own wood type after its addition. Plus due to how common Chorus plants are, it only giving you 2 planks per 4 stems instead of a log giving you 4 planks would help balance things out.
Mojang devs, if you're seeing this, please do consider this idea or something that's more in line with your own visions. The End needs these small additions to make it feel more full, as the Chorus Plant feels almost pointless with the actual fruit being so suboptimal to eat/use, and Purpur Blocks and End Rods being so available to mine in bulk at End Cities. This would do the whole plant some justice at least, and I would love a purple wood as well.
Thank you for your possible consideration
