Minecraft Beacons currently have 6 effects 5 of which have 2 levels. You activate them by putting them on a pyramid of valuables. You confirm the effect by sacrificing something valuable to the Beacon.
My idea is that you have access to more positive effects but the value of the Offering changes the level of the effect not the pyramid tier. The Offering dictates the level of the effect with the potential to invert it if it is too low in value, introducing negative effect beacons. The higher the pyramid tier the stronger the effects will be. Tiers affect the effect radius the same as previously.
This would greatly enhance Minecraft’s Map and Mini-game customization. Imagine Decked Out on Hermitcraft with Beacons like these. The possibilities would skyrocket!

Invisibility: Glowing-Invisibility

+Mob Zoning: Prevents hostile mobs from spawning in radius.
