Dear Mojang, you have publicly announced interest in making the world sound more realistic. I suggest that you could devote a whole update to it. By improving animations, adding natural sounds to biomes, and potentially even adding things like more diverse weather, you could make the Minecraft world infinitely more beautiful. In recent years it has taken some baby steps in the right direction, and I think now is the time for the real work to begin.
Animations: The animations of new mobs have drastically improved. For this update all the old mobs be given a bit more live. Wiggling ears, laying down in the shade or sun, improved walking and running animations, “doggy paddle” swimming animation when in water, moving heads when making noise, rolling, and more will add so much to Minecraft forever!
Sounds: Instead of a nature soundtrack that just plays over and over I suggest adding a bunch of sounds and having them be able to play in unique patterns every time. It wouldn’t sound very real if you heard the same thing every time.
Weather: I can’t be bother finding out the last time Minecraft’s weather was updated, but it has certainly been a long time. There are only three types of weather; clear, precipitating, and stormy. Not very realistic. I don’t particularly want tornados or other catastrophic disasters in Minecraft, but I would love to see hail, particle being blown by the wind (and different wind directions), and maybe some environmental details.
