Slimes should also be affected by Oozing. But instead of the usual effect, slimes with the Oozing status effect would get the ability to combine into bigger slime sizes (e.g. 4 slimes of the same size under the Oozing effect would be able to combine into 1 slime one size bigger).
Other notes and related ideas:
- when slimes under the Oozing effect combine, the newly formed bigger slime should be the one with the longest Oozing effect duration from the original 4 smaller slimes; the Oozing status effect and duration should remain on the bigger slime so it may continue to combine to even bigger sizes
- slimes under the Oozing effect should be allowed to combine to bigger sizes than the current max vanilla slime spawning size of 3 (bigger slime sizes are possible even today with commands)
- if affected by Oozing, the 2-4 smaller slimes that spawn upon a bigger slime's death should inherit the remaining Oozing effect duration of the original bigger slime
- the two slimes spawned upon a mob's death from the original Oozing effect could also inherit the remaining Oozing effect duration of the original mob
- slimes not under the Oozing effect would be unaffected (named/pet slimes will remain safe as long as they are kept away from any Oozing effect sources)
