Diamond Rarity Increase and More Uses

Comparing to older versions, you'd find diamonds by actually looking for them, and it felt so rewarding to find them since they were so rare.
Fast forward to 1.17-1.18, and eventually 1.21, they are not the same. Diamonds are so common in big caves when they shouldn't be, and I could probably get a stack of diamonds within an hour. A stack of diamonds before these versions would've taken hours, if not days. That's how rare they were, and it was so fun because of this. PLEASE NERF DIAMOND GENERATION!
You should also add other uses to the diamonds, as there are a lot of recipes for iron, while diamond only really has tools, armor, and a Jukebox. Maybe there could be a diamond shield that lasts way longer, since the iron ones wear out super quick. But please do something to the diamonds!
