honestly this is self explanatory but i will do this with science that is probably wrong.
In real life glass is made at around 1600°C (2912°F) in comparison to copper and gold which are melted at 1084°C (1983°F) for copper and 1,064°C (1943°F) iron is melted making an iron ingot in real life uses around the same temperature as making glass at around 1600°C
