Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Burnt wood

I know it sound stupid but burnt wood would have the bark being black or very dark grey and the middle of the log would be light grey like polished basalt. You would get burnt (or charred) wood by mojang changing regular campfire coal drops into burnt logs. it would also spawn naturally in burnt forests in the nether.

    I absolutely love this idea and would also add that it would be super cool if these “charred wood” blocks would deteriorate under you if you tried walking across it. The mini game potential would be amazing.

    welp they are kind of adding this idea this post was made before pale gardens but I still want this because this wood would be gray or grey whichever it is
