Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Add the a similar item to the lashing potato to vanilla minecraft

The lashing potato in the poisonous potato april fools update is genuinely an incredible and really fun item to use, the movement feels great, and it's especially fun with elytra, I just think it would be really nice to have a similar item in vanilla, one with decent durability, maybe crafted with another new item, "Strengthened string", a breeze rod, and a pickaxe, and repaired of course, with the strengthened string. the range, power, and total durability of the item could be decided by the type of pickaxe used to craft it, and the strengthened string could be crafted with string, slime balls, and netherite scraps. to allow players to prevent others from using it where they don't want, and to add a some interesting mechanics to the item, some blocks, like slime and honey, could be be immune to the item and prevent players from latching onto it, and players could use a mixture of slime and honey to "lubricate" blocks, giving the affected blocks the same immunity to the new item, and also making the block slightly slippery, maybe a little less slippery than ice.

    good idea, but actually the lashing potato. it should be crafted with a fishing rod, a slimeball, and a poisonous potato.

    At least they could make a similar item accessible with cheats if not be accessible in regular survival if balancing were to be an issue. It would be with items like the command block, barrier, spawn eggs.
