Coppered Redstone Dust

Like normal redstone dust, but it can be placed vertically and underneath blocks. It is also resistant to explosions and water. Maybe it could also hold longer a signal strength (makes it easier to "transport" redstone signals to a far place with less repeaters). A crafting recipe could be, like the dirt recipe, two redstone dust and two copper ingots, in an x form --> four coppered redstone dust.
