Dear Minecraft Developers,
I have a suggestion to improve the tree-chopping mechanic in Minecraft. Currently, chopping down an entire tree in the game requires breaking each individual block, however, in reality, felling a tree involves chopping through its base part, which then causes the entire tree to collapse.
To bring more realism to the game, I propose that when a player chops a block lower on the tree, all the blocks above it should also be destroyed. Alternatively, the remaining blocks above the chopped one could collapse and scatter onto the ground around the base of the tree, simulating the natural collapse of the tree. Additionally, chopping the blocks closer to the base should require significantly more time and tool durability. This would encourage players to plan their chopping strategy more carefully and reward those who invest in better tools or skills.
By implementing this chopping feature, Minecraft would offer a more engaging and realistic tree-chopping experience. Players would need to carefully consider their approach and tool choices, adding an exciting new layer of strategy to the game.
Thank you for considering my suggestion. I believe this would greatly enhance the Minecraft experience.
Sincerely,
Zhiran Chen
