1.22 Mace Improvement

Along with the community, I greatly appreciate the new weapon added to the game. The latest news making it harder to obtain is a great idea for late game players. There is something I notice that could be improved. However, this may make the item too overpowered.

Details

This enchantment would allow a user to cut through the air with ease. Perhaps it would be placed on the chest-plate to allow the user to in a way, add to their air-speed.

Additionally, this enchantment would begin as fairly unnoticed. When paired with Wind Burst, the user would get a bonus of (example) 1/2 greater speed upon successfully hitting a target per target (dependent on level/strength of Wind Burst).

• Air Cut
• Glide
• Wind Shear

Potential challenges to add

Placement: Chest-plate (more resistance, more enchantments), Leggings (decide between Swift Sneak or this new enchantment), Elytra (trade for armor points).

Additional Information

If used on the Elytra, this item could also be used to make the Elytra more efficient. This could be achieved by reducing the damage inflicted during flight.
