Sleeping in the middle of 2 beds should cause the player to sleep in center

Was playing on a realm recently and went to sleep in my bed (2 beds side-by-side), and noticed my player was sleeping in the middle of both of the beds I had. I was luckily able to screen capture it, but upon researching it (and trying to sleep again) I discovered it was a glitch. I think it would be neat if the player could sleep in the middle of 2 beds when in that setup, just because some builds need 2 beds to keep symmetry or look more aesthetically pleasing, and it would make that second bed more functional rather than purposing it just for symmetry or aesthetic.
