If you've tamed a parrot in minecraft, you know how frustrating it is when they get on your shoulders when you are just trying to get out of your bed. You might have had to make your parrot stay sitting because your Minecraft parrot's cage you built takes up too much space. What if you could make a birdcage? A birdcage would be either small or be called birdcage bars. The small one could be craftable by getting a crafting table and putting iron bard around the frame of the crafting grid. It would be 1x1 and one parrot could go inside it. To open the door, you would press the place button. To get the parrot in, place the cage where you would like, and then push your parrot in. Once inside, close the door. Your parrot will now sit in the cage. Now let's talk about birdcage bars. To craft them, you need to fill the crafting grid with iron nuggets. Next, take the birdcage bars out of the crafting table. 9 iron nuggets make 3 birdcage bars. Birdcage bars are used to make custom sized birdcages. Place them down and they will connect. The cage must be at least 2 blocks wide or tall for the parrot to walk around in it. In a large birdcage, 1 parrot equals 2 blocks of space. As long as the cage is taller than 1 block, the parrot will fly. You could craft a perch out of one wooden plank and a stick. The parrot will sit on it sometimes. A bird toy is crafted out of one piece of string on top, a stick, and on the end, a button, bell, or wood plank. Mojang, please add this!
