This is a very Copper focused update, which got me thinking… Waiting for the oxidation of copper in Minecraft can be very tiring, it’s such a cool feature, but I just wish the player had a little more control over the process. So I got curious, and upon doing some research I found that salt makes things like Metals and Coppers rust/oxidize faster. While there are of course a few more extra steps Irl to make it oxidize, this is Minecraft, it doesn’t need to be too complicated.
So, how exactly would this feature work? Well, Salt clusters could be found underground, or on an ocean floor. Once mined, you can craft them down to become salt and mix them with water bottles! (I imagine this would also be done in the crafting table) These bottles of salt water would be used to control the oxidation of copper to its stage of the players liking!
