How about a new type of portal to another location on map

I think it would be great to have a portal between locations. Like if you built a house with farm in one place and then went exploring and built a house in another place you could travel between them with a portal instead of having to find you way back. You could even travel to another place and build a third, fourth, or fifth, etc, portal and each time you went through it you would end up in one your other locations, they would simply rotate in order. You could use copper blocks to build the portal. It's relatively abundant and would be a great use for it.
