the d - pad…

now i’m not complaining much about the d - pad design, but where it is positioned now is really getting on my nerves. And i do know that a new experimental touch positioning feature is in the touch menu, i cannot position the d - pad to where it was originally. so i would really like it to be changed back to the old d - pad if possible because it would make my creative life easier again.
