Turtle Helmet blocks Mace attack

The Turtle Shell Helmet is an item that you rarely need to use.
In PvP, the Mace is extremely OP: it can one-hit even Full-Netherite players.

Why not make the Turtle Helmet better by adding a new little mechanic?
 
• Turtle Helmet now provides protection specifically against falling attacks from the Mace.
• After blocking a falling attack, the Turtle Helmet breaks/receives high durability damage.
• Attacking with the Mace can still damage the player, only falling attacks are blocked by the helmet.
 
This can be a nice little mechanic to make the Turtle Helmet more useful in combat! :)

    i like full turtle armor but i dont really like i completely blocking the mace maybe half the damage?

    I think that maybe instead of 100% damage reduction from the mace, I think maybe 70% of damage should be reduced.

    Wonderful Idea this would bring more use to the turtle helmet and make the mace a little more even. Even if the mace just did less damage to people wearing the turtle helmet is good. In my thoughts I think that the mace doing less damage to people wearing the turtle helmet is better. If it blocked all the turtle helmet would be too OP and its too easy to obtain. Other wise wonderful Idea I love it!

    Really good idea, the mace should probably still do like a heart or so after a falling attack instead of completely blocking the attack in my opinion, still great idea though

    I really don't think this is a great idea, like the turtle shell shouldn't be for PVP. Instead, it should just have more water abilities.

    you could make it so that you have to add armadillo scutes to the turtle helmet to make it block the mace. then, when you've been hit a certain number of times, it simple breaks the scute layer and not the turtle helmet.

    We should also add stuff like anvils and falling dripstone too, turtle helmets just protect against stuff that does damage by falling on you

    Very creative use! This would add to the addition of warm and cold ocean ruins, which also added more turtle helmet uses. I'm sure there may be reason for one more after that.
