I really like the 1.20 update features with armor trims, but I wish Minecraft took customization further, Imagine if you could find either as loot from dungeons/ suspicious sand/gravel, Crystals or scrolls that could spawn in every dye color variant in the game, could be added via smithing table to a tool/armor to change the enchantment color from the current purple hue to red, green, or all dye colors.
Or if Mojang took it further and each enchantment book had its own recognizable texture so you knew what you had just from looking at the it
Imagine if Enchantments were visually shown on a tool, unbreaking might turn the wood stick texture to a obsidian, or stone esc colors, sweeping edge could add length to the blade of a sword so it looks more like a greatsword, looting shown as a clover on the cross guard,or on the handle, sharpness changes the sword blade or axe head texture slightly to be a bit shiny and wider. Then the axe changes to look like double sided battleaxe, fire aspect makes the sword blade be on fire, netherite swords fire aspect could be blue. I believe all features listed would fit well within Minecraft and would greatly expand player expression and customization
