This update differs from typical Enchanting updates by not just introducing new enchantments, but by enhancing the existing enchanting system to make lower-level enchantments more significant. Often, players quickly acquire maximum enchantments early on, making other enchantments feel less special over time. To address this, I propose making enchanting more challenging. There's a risk of the enchanting book breaking when players attempt to equip it, with higher enchanting levels increasing the likelihood of destruction. To mitigate this risk, a new item called the "Protection Upgrade" is introduced. It's applied to armor using a smithing table and resembles the Netherite upgrade, but with the arrow replaced by a shield and the red color changed to light gray. The Protection Upgrade has three uses, and players can apply it using gold, iron, diamond, or Netherite, with each material providing more uses.
