Javelin/Spear throwers in Minecraft

Dear Mojang: Can you please add another weapon weapon as well, i suggest for yall to make a weapon called the javelin where you can either throw it or use it in close combat, because it’s really weird that the most simplest weapons that can be created is not in minecraft, but it’s up to you mojang, i hope you can see this.
