Change MCPE D-Pad Texture Back!

It's come to my attention and other's that in 1.20.71, the D-pad has had its texture changed. This version has made it so much harder to play and honestly frightened me when I loaded into my worlds. I think many people were happy how it was and think it should stay as it has in the past.

    I agree, the new style of the controls are harder to use and so bad to look at. There should atleast be an option to choose the old style. I understand that they want to match and update it to the rest of the designs of the other joysticks but the design for dpad and tap to interact just look horrible to look at. Like when I first loaded into the world I was genuinely upset at the design. It doesn't look appealing to the eye based on the design of minecraft, it just looks like it doesn't belong with the way minecraft looks. It's too bold and just ugly and hard to use. The old design was just much better since it wasn't as blocky and had a more relaxed feel to it, these new controls are really just not it.

    I am with you. I feel the same way. Honestly, I thought it was a virus or a very serious glitch or something like that. It frightened me as well. It is truly upsetting in my opinion at least, when it comes to attacking mobs, placing blocks, breaking blocks, moving around, jumping, flying, falling, and much more. I definitely hope that Mojang will "soon" fix this. And, if it makes you feel any better, you aren't the only one who doesn't like the new theme of it. I hope for the best. Have a nice day. :) 👍🏻👍🏻

    I don’t like the new texture because it is harder to play and is terrible and the old texture was better and easier Mojand plz change this

    The arrows are too spaced out! I got so used to the old texture, I hate how they just change unnecessary things!

    Literally I've lost all ability to move because of how they've changed position. No one asked for this!!!

    I also agree that the new controls are very difficult to use, I played minecraft pe for a long time on my phone and had been playing for years until now, where I noticed in the latest 1.20.71 update when the dpad look big and was almost covering the centre of the screen. this needs to be switched back to the old controls asap. I also tried to get used to the new dpad but gave up 20 seconds after trying and not playing until there’s another update where the old design returns.

    This has got to be one of the worst changes you made. You (devs) could've just changed the texture without changing the position of the buttons. It made gameplay much more difficult to manage. The old D-Pad design was fine and there is nothing wrong with it. Why the need to change it? We understand that you want it to match with other controller design but the old one was perfect. I bet you didn't hear or see any complaints about it from the community. You better change it back to how it was or this game will be uncomfortable and unplayable for us mobile users.

    YES PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK. PLEASE. i loaded into a server and when i saw the dpad changed i was shocked. i knew there was an update but not an update to the mobile controls, because nothing was wrong with them. i can't even move or pvp anymore, the buttons are spaced out, it's too high up, and i can't move it back down. i'm already used to playing with my fingers in certain positions so the old dpad should be an option for people who want it. got to be the most terrible minecraft update yet. PLEASE add the old dpad back, or change it back completely.

    When I updated the game and loaded my world I was upset to see that the d-pad had changed. I thought I was crazy for feeling like the buttons were not spaced how they used to be, I’ve tried playing for about an hour with the new style but just gave up. Please change these back to how they used to be, I can barely reach the buttons comfortably anymore on my IPad.

    It took me sec to even understand how to get out of the fly mood in creative. With the original controls, it was straightforward.

    YES!!! the update log on IOS didnt even say about a new d-pad either, so it was more of a shock too! they also take up too much of the screen, and on Ipad if you change where theyre at with the new experimental thing, it doesnt even save?! it also makes it way harder to play since their basically flat middle in the screen and i really dont wanna retrain my muscle memory of YEARS just to play some god damn minecraft… BE has really gone into that modern more detailed ui trend in the past few years, and god do i hate it!

    I agree. Since they changed it so suddenly, I need to switch to the other controls that also suck. As of now until they change it or not, I’m playing Education Edition until they change the controls. It would be good if the D-Pad and Jump Button weren’t so broken. Overall, Mojang needs to change it. It’s very annoying and they should’ve kept it. The design itself stands out way too much for playing normally. They need to change it or else we’re going to need a vote.

    I updated my version from 1.20.62 to 1.20.73 and I joined my friends server and I saw the D-pad buttons and they were changed and so hard to play I searched for solutions but I found nothing so please mojang change the D-pad back!

    I hope minecraft change the minecraft d-pad texture, because it's make me uncomfortable to play, and it's more harder to play because um i use that d pad texture since aquatic update, so i not feel comfortable with new one

    I want the old ones back because I can't fight, build, walk properly and I quite minecraft and I will rejoin when they get the old ones back 😡😡😡😡

    EXACTLY the new one sucks since it ruined my muscle memory and gotta learn the new one. Now it's annoying to play the game makes me want to quit and it feels that Minecraft doesn't want me to

    Yes, and there are also many textures that change the d-pad but now they have been ruined because of this update, they should at least include an option for the classic d-pad and the new one
