Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Gold to Diamond upgrade smithing templates

This idea could expand on the template mecanism as well as give more uses to the gold equipment. Because yes, this template would allow to upgrade gold armors and tools to diamond. Thus making all the gold items we find more useful. However, to prevent the process from being too OP, the durability would remain unchanged. For example, a gold sword at full durability of 32/32 would be upgraded to a diamond sword with a durability of 32/1561, retaining all enchantments from the gold sword.

The template could be a reward of the new vaults in the Trials Chambers.
