The new touch screen controls are just terrible

I can barely move with them and I just got good at Minecraft but now I can't MOVE and it's been that sense 2011 when it came out please change it back to the original controls

    I absolutely agree. The new controls are harder to use and way more awkward, at least a toggle to the old ones would be nice

    So true I actually feel like I've gone back to being a noob ITS SO HARD TO MOVE WITH THEM

    Same I hate how hard it is to use and want the old one back or to be able to choose the old one as a option

    I'm using an iPad and the new touch controls in 1.2.71 have made them unusable, please add an option to revert to the old touch control interface design!

    I personally find it really hard not to place blocks when using the new touch controls. They’ve all been moved upwards and more towards the center, and the flying controls are way more distant now. With the old controls, you weren’t able to place or break blocks if you touched near the controls. Now, if you miss by a single pixel, which everyone’ll do, you’ll place blocks accidentally.

    The way to stop flying has also changed. There was a whole button for that. Now you have to double tap down.

    The touch controls in 1.20.71 have ruined Minecraft - please change the Dpad controls back!!! Or include an option to change back to the previous layout and controls.
