Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Torched wood

This would essentially be a black wood type, complete with fences, doors, trapdoors, stairs, ECT... This would be obtained by either left clicking a flint and steel on any log variety, or by combining four pieces of charcoal in the crafting table. The later would mean that there would be no log of this wood type, but I'm fine with that. This wood type would be very good for builds that are supposed to look partially burnt down, or just for the decorative use of black colored wood.

    You could also have villages spawn built with this wood type near naturally generated lava lakes in the overworld

    The charred wood could fall if unsupported.
