Minecraft Editor (Preview) - Coding Feature

Really enjoying the Minecraft Editor so far using the Bedrock Preview. I was wondering if it was possible to add customisation and coding of blocks and entities within this as a feature? For example, if MakeCode was combined with this it would make a really amazing editor/programming/game-making interface for children of all ages to develop their ideas. Many of the existing mod and add-on developers on the market are a little complicated and my children would love to be able to develop their own add-ons within their custom worlds.
