Idea for mob allay

Allay could collect blocks by placing them in a (special chest) he would collect the blocks in a 5 by 5 block range, almost like Minecraft legends,I know Minecraft has already said it doesn't like mobs that break blocks, but mobs like wither(the one with three heads) literally break blocks, so I don't see why Allay couldn't
