Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Adding more ores and rock tumbler

Since, the archeology update was made, it got me thinking; why couldn't there be a Geology update. I feel like some more ores should be added. The ones I thought of were sapphire, ruby, Jade, and opal. Maybe even some agates and jaspers. I feel like this would make the game a lot more fun. Also, I am a rock geek and I love rock tumbling. I figured that a rock tumbling machine could be added to the game where you can craft the machine and you fan put all of your stone, diorite, andesite, and granite in it as well as a separate section in it for dirt and/or sand to go in to act as the grit during rock tumbling. After a couple of minecraft days then, it will be done and it will have different gems in it instead of the old stone and stuff that was put in it. This would give others a way to use their stones and stuff to make it useful rather than just having a trillion chests full of stone and other stuff like that. Also maybe geodes on the surface with like other gems inside thsn amethyst, idk. Just a few suggestions to think about.

    I would like to have more gems in minecraft but it would have to come with totaly new machanics, something like jewelry, and it would come with also some problems, would they be just decorations or have some special effects, i think its complicated.

    But i voted for it, i like the idea, also would be need to have nether and End Gem stones and their effects would separate early game and end game.

    Something like three gems per one artefacts would limit their use and would let players choose their approach to game.

    While you can only equip one artefact.

    And it can be just one gemstone providing one effect, or two, connected with gold to some kind of neckless or maybe three connected with netherite.
