New wolf types is a big step foward for update old mobs. Mojang should make the same with cows, pigs or other animals from early Minecraft versions.

I would add to maybe change the physical appearance more than just colors, like the spotted wolf could have rounded ears like an African Wild Dog.

Whilst I as a massive hyena lover think it would be best to have hyenas as something separate from the wolves due to not even being canines(i would cry at having being able to have hyena friends in Minecraft of any kinds) if I can't have that then I would accept striped hyenas or aardwolves showing up as a wolf variant, I guess.

But it could be fun if they used wolves as like a basis for a variety of different creatures, could be fun to see something like end-wolves or moowolves.

I love the new dogs although I think you should add one more variant a dachshund variant and it is a bit longer. I'm saying this because recently my dog Rocky, a dachshund mix passed away due to IVDD and it was very sad. He was always really happy or would cuddle with us. I know it's rare for Minecraft to accept suggestions, but I would like to request a special name tag easter egg for this when you name a wolf it turns into a male black and tan dachshund named Rocky. Thank you! With Gratitude, Gigi
