getting a bed in Minecraft shouldn’t be as direct as a process as going to the End, because sheep aren’t always available, and it’s absolutely obvious that they aren’t as integral to the game as trees are, so it seems kinda random that the first thing you do in a world is kill those sheep.
i propose that, on the topic of trees, there be a chance for trees to have varying sorts of cotton, a substitute for wool, in their leaves, making beds easier to get.
firstly, the importance of beds and the newfound abundance and variance of cotton would fully integrate trees into the early game and farming processes, respectively, with even prospects of tree spiders?
secondly, cotton, possibly along with an updated wool, could help integrate leather armor with combinations and stuff.
thirdly, and most importantly, obtaining cotton in this way would be much more relaxing and productive than obtaining wool by killing sheep.
okay, agree? feel free to elaborate on any or all of this, or mention villagers.
