My desired/suggested changes are as follows -

    • Increase the durability of all items by 300% This will make Mending less immediately required by allowing our items to last longer, and act as a beneficial quality of life improvement without making Mending pointless.
    • Remove the exponential increase XP requirements and 'too expensive' limit on repairing gear. I don't think it's bad for combining enchantments, but just for repairing an item is exactly why we all require mending to begin with.
    • Let us repair our treasure items, such as the Trident even without Mending.
    • Remove the Treasure Enchantment restrictions on the enchanting table. Make them rare 30 level enchantments, but at least make it so there's ways to get them that are actually practical besides villagers.
    • Remove Treasure Enchantments from Villagers entirely to end the tyranny of villager trading halls.
    • Allow enchanted books to be duplicated. This will end the reliance on villagers by giving us a way to get Mending without having to rely on villagers wholesale, and do so consistently.
