Maces & light shields

A Mace attacks slower than axes, but deals +1 than axes ,a critical hit from a mace would slow down opponents for a second giving the player an opportunity to follow up with another attack, A Light shield doesn’t block damage, instead when blocking the player simply takes less damage, however light shields can be disabled by critical attacks from swords, axes, and Maces- This way shields can finally be added to pvp servers in a far more balanced way, this removes shield spammers and makes for a more enjoyable pvp experience, btw Light shield’s wouldn’t replace normal shields, they are just there for pvp servers or if the player wants better visibility while using a shield

    Minecraft should add stance breaking and poise to the game to be able to do a lot more with pvp

    I love the idea of maces “stunning” or slowing down players, and I’ve been wanting a mace weapon for a very long time, since I used to play as a Paladin on WoW. We really do need a greater variety of fun weapons available in Minecraft for different play styles.
