Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Fang item

Cannot be crafted. Only can be found naturally in chests or from mobs.

These would act kind of like Swords, but faster attack speed, lower attack damage, and can be tipped through cauldrons.
Wolves will drop normal Fangs on death (maybe Bats too to make Bats actually useful). Spiders will also drop Fangs, but they would be poison-tipped instead.
You can repair Fangs with bones.
You can also enchant Fangs with some of the enchantments allowed on Swords.

Fangs would have a single stack size, like most tools. Fangs would also use durability, like most tools, as well.

If a player has full Iron Armor (or better), the Fang will still do damage but will not give said player the Fang's tipped effect.

I hope this gets considered and maybe added to Minecraft!

    Adding this to the post via comments because if I edit manually, it will need to go through moderation again.

    Upon tipping a Fire Aspect-enchanted Fang with Fire Resistance, the two will contradict and Fire Aspect will be removed.
    You can tip Fangs through crafting with potion bottles along with cauldrons.
    Other mobs that would be candidates to drop Fangs would drop them upon death.
