Dwarfs of the Overworld

Dwarfs: They would have dark blue skin, gray beards, wear helmets, and wield iron or stone axes. Their village would be in a taiga biome and they would act similar to Villagers, but will hunt instead of farm, and only trade enchanted items to each other and Players. They would be neutral mobs, but if attacked by any mob, all Dwarves in a 20 block radius from the one that was attacked will rush on the offender with axes and will only stop when the offender is defeated. Their Village would be look like a taiga village, but have a blueish and more camplike theme, and a lookout tower. A dark oak wall, 2 blocks thick with an opening would be the boundaries of the village. Only one village spawns per Taiga biome. They would be a little over half a block tall. Each Dwarf has an inventory that is smaller then a player's but can still hold 10 stacks of blocks or items. There are 3 types of Dwarfs, Warriors: these are the village warriors, they wield stone axes and wear helmets, train in their camp by day and attack hostile mobs by night. Workers: these are the working population of the village. These wield pickaxes and still wear helmets, you can find them in farms or mines in the village. If you attack one worker all the Warriors will immediately attack you until you die. Roamers: these are the Dwarfs that do not live in the village, they travel from town to town.

    I like this suggestion. It’s a good replacement for villagers that can fight. I was thinking that maybe, instead of Taiga’s, the Dwarf villages could be found in mountain biomes. They could live in Groves, Snowy Slopes and Stony Peaks with their houses set into the mountain itself. If they did live in the snowy mountain biomes then they would be immune to sinking into powder snow. A thought I also had is that you could trade with the Workers and the Roamers. You wouldn’t necessarily have to trade with emeralds but you could trade with armour or weapons or food and they would offer trades that are completely different to Villagers and would be unique to them. Perhaps a new enchantment for your boots that stop you from sinking into powder snow so that you don’t have to keep bringing leather boots with you to explore mountains all the time. These are just thoughts I had. I hope they make sense. It would be cool to have something like this in the game
