Netherite “Magnets”

Netherite has the same problem as diamonds in that they do not have enough uses. There are several ideas for magnets out there, but I think making it a block is the best route. Made with a Netherite ingot (center), Copper blocks (diamond), and iron bars (corners), the Magnet Block would pull any item towards it in a 5 block radius, similar to how a player pulls items towards themselves. If powered by red stone, it would repel. Players or mobs who wear netherite or minecarts (when off rail) would also be pulled by it at a speed fast enough to catch up to flying machines. Touching the block or being within a 1 block radius would negate the pull of gravity. These magnet blocks would also be able to pull/push projectiles, allowing players to straighten or accelerate trajectories and magnetically lock things in place. It’s not really a magnet since it pulls in more than just metals, a mechanic that would bring a deep addition into the core gameplay would be worthy of a use for netherite.
