Basic Smithing Table

Crafted with 4 dirt and 2 coal, it can turn diamond gear to netherite gear without the netherite upgrade, but smithing has a 90% chance to fail. If smithing fails, the table breaks.

    The block about this post is the basic version of the smithing table. Maybe the normal smithing table could have its recipe modified to have 6 wooden planks, 2 Netherite Blocks and 1 Iron Block.

    It will need crying obsidian as fuel to allow it to work in the first place. The crying obsidian fuel will only last 20 seconds on the basic smithing table.

    If smithing fails, you will get a semi-netherite item that has more durability and damage than diamond, but less damage and durability than netherite, like this one.

    • This example is a semi-netherite sword, but also partially a diamond sword.


    It has a 50% chance to burn when in lava. It will bounce on lava.
