Random Idea Picker

On the Website’s home page, there should be an option called Go to Random Post. When clicked, it takes you to a random post that exists on the feedback site.

    You could also select multiple post categories. Then the random idea picker will only try and find posts in the selected categories.

    You could also select post vote ranges. Example: If the post vote range is 12-78, the random post picker will only find posts that have at least 12 votes, but a maximum of 78 votes.

    You can also search for posts with or without official comments. If posts without official comments are selected, the random post picker will only find posts that do not have official comments.

    You could also select users. Example: If users Blast Burner and jaynt456 are selected, the random post picker will only find posts created by these 2 users.

    You can also search for posts containing 'pinned', 'under review', 'released', 'updated', 'needs info' and 'announced' tags. Example: 'under review' is set as a post tag. The random post picker will only find posts that are under review by Mojang.

    You can also select post creation date ranges, including time it was created in 24 hour format. Example: If the post creation date range is set between 12 November 2021 at 12:21 and 6 October 2023 at 14:22, the random post picker will only find posts that were created on or after 12 November 2021 at 12:21, but before or on 6 October 2023 at 14:22.

    You could also determine if you have voted on a post before or not. Example: Have not voted on post is selected. The random post picker will only find posts you have not voted on.

    You can also select comment count on posts, either as a range on an integer:

    • Example 1: If the comment count range on a post is between 45-90 comments, the random idea picker will only find posts that have at least 45 comments, but a maximum of 90 comments.
    • Example 2: Comment count is set to 100. The random idea picker will only look for posts that have exactly 100 comments.
