Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.
There should be a chat filter in java as there is already one in bedrock. It would censor any violent or inappropriate text.
Then people won't be able to swear/curse or use any other violent speech, which will be good on some servers. This would make java servers much safer for younger players.
The filter should also be the same for signs and written books.
