Adding functionality to the Fletching Table

Hi Mojang! I am currently watching a blind let's play of Minecraft, which has made me realise how strange some things can be for new players. One thing is the Fletching Table. The player found that he was able to craft it, and thought it could be used to create arrows much like the name suggests, but was disappointed to find it had no functionality, (other than villager professions of course). I'm sure other people have suggested something similar, but I propose that the Fletching Table be given a functionality, specifically, to make normal arrows more efficiently and to make some unique arrows. Normal arrows could be made using less resources than usual, making it feel worth wile. For the special arrows, I think an arrow that did less damage but shot further would be a neat addition. Furthermore, a glow tipped arrow created using glow ink would be very cool. Upon hitting a block, it would leave behind a temporary or permanent glowing spot, making it possible to light up the roof of big caves. Having to use glow ink to craft it makes a lot of sense, as it forces the player to first explore caves normally in order to find a glow squid. I think these additions would be very cool features to have in the game Love from Sweden!
