Add everything that Notch wanted to be added except the stuff that would be too annoying or something that has already been added that would be too similar
Some of many things that would be good in the base game: Exploding arrows, Trolls, Hatchable and Tameable Dragons, Goblins, Secret doors that blend in, Sky dimension, Ice deserts, Sleds that can be pulled by dogs, cats, reindeers and more (Reindeers aren't one of notches ideas as of my knowledge but they would fit and if you add reindeers you might aswell add deers like every other good survival game) and the sleds only work on snow, Flags that claim a surrounding area, Arrows with different tips (fletching table use), ropes, grappling hooks, Deeper oceans, sea monsters, whirlpools, fire creepers (maybe in nether or volcano biomes), Volcano biomes with volcanoes that erupt maybe it will encourage players to build walls around their bases, square rainbows (including pink like irl), blood moons, Kobolds/Cobolds, Monster Villages/Towns (If done right, could work) Zoos (Could be a Zoologist villager profession but add more zoo mobs), Giant mobs (Only if it has its own biome) and Carts/Wagons.
Some of many things that wouldn't fit in the base game: Gravity for all blocks, Longer days and Nights cycle, Oil and Flammable Oil (Unless used for barbecues and cooking food with oil), Torch arrows, Redstone activated furnaces (even though it would be nice), Taming spiders, Limping, Ragdoll Physics and Better Diamond.
