Copper Armour (was copper needs more uses).

Copper needs more uses. The Spyglass, the Lightening Rod and the Brush are very useful but, only the Brush looses durability meaning that players are not going to look out for Copper as often as other ores. Copper is very common but players, like me, do avoid it once they feel like they don’t need anymore. Yes you can use it in construction but I don’t feel copper blocks fit with my builds. What I am proposing is a new set of items. I think there should be Copper Armour that gives players the same amount of armour points as Chain Armour. Yes there is plenty of armour in the game but I think that Copper Armour should have something beneficial, to make players use it. Similar to Netherite Armour having Resistance, I’m suggesting that Copper Armour would have Movement. Movement would allow players to run and hit mobs faster (not significantly faster). It would also allow players to load Crossbows and Bows faster as well.

THERE IS A CATCH.

Copper Armour oxidises. It takes a while to oxidise but, the more it oxidises, THE SLOWER YOU MOVE. Once it fully oxidises, you can barely move. Let’s also not forget to mention that the probability of being struck by lightning is increased.

To get the Copper Armour back to how you first made it, you would have to repair it on a new block with non oxidised Copper Armour. This will then get more players to mine and use Copper a lot more without players neglecting other ores.
