/force command

The /force command will be used to launch mobs and entities, as well as players.

It will allow you to set a certain velocity or add to the current force. (e.g /force set @s ~ ~5 ~) 

It's not just parallel force, it can also be relative to a position or an entity within a certain radius. (e.g /force relative entity @e[type=minecraft:cow,limit=1] radius 5 set 2)

    I just found another use for this. Im trying to make a updraft booster like in the Glide mode, however levitate forces you to stop using your elytra
