Increased ore in different biomes

The mesa has a unique trait in that it has more gold ore generation in it than any other overworld biome, so maybe other biomes could get the same treatment. A few examples are having oceans have more copper ore. generation or jungles having more lapis lazuli ore generation. I don't think this should be an option for netherite, but diamonds should be. But I think they should only in an extremely rare biome. The best biome I can think of for diamonds is the mushroom island as they are very difficult to find and they're mysterious atmosphere in my opinion fits diamonds well.
