I was especially excited about this item when I heard about it and installed this snapshot because I couldn't resist spoiling it. Jump boosting is very fun! The boost height feels just right and I had no trouble figuring it out.
I assumed that I could use the Wind Charge to boost myself upward when close to landing on the ground while flying with an Elytra, but I was disappointed when it didn't do something interesting when I used an Elytra and a Wind Charge together because they're both mobility items.

The particle effect for the Wind Charge looks great, its distinct from normal explosions and looks fittingly wispy. I love the puffy sounds too!

When I tried to hit a pig directly with a wind charge, I expected it to send them flying back away from me, and I was confused when it seemingly didn't work. I read one of the comments on this thread that mentions aiming precisely to send them upward instead of away, and that was very fun when I tried it in game! When using the item, I expected it to always do something interesting when I hit a mob with the projectile and didn't know I should aim at the ground just below them to get a full knocking effect.
I'm having a lot of fun with this item! Thank you for reading my feedback.

over all I must say I love this item, I see a lot of potential in it, especially when talking abaut redstone, not only movement or combat, I saw the recent changes and I would love if the wind charge didn't have any kind of randomness at least when it's thrown from dispensers

Maybe you can put one on a arrow to make the arrow have low gravity and friction.

I think it would be really cool if wind charges would bounce off of slime blocks, allowing a way to knockback yourself, and also create a interesting new mechanic for parkour.

Similar to fireballs on Hypixel, did you get the concept/inspiration from that

We should be able to craft them with a blase rod or and end rod and and ender pearl or something to make a reach wand that can open chest from a far distance. (would be great for ancient city especially for beginners)

Wind Changes might work with Riptide on Tridents by left clicking the trident at any time to immediately boost you and save your fall, right?

Fireballs must also be thrown, and have a 3D model.

I think maybe the horizontal knock back of the wind charges when thrown to be increased. So if you look at a wall and throw it it'll propel you from the wall and when throw at entities it could launch them further.

This is a great item, but I think the texture could fit into the game better if it looked more like the Fire Charge or a ball of Dragon’s Breath.

I love all of the functionality of the wind charge, as well as its visuals. I think the only way to make it better would be to make it easier to obtain in mass. For players to use it commonly, there should be a way to get lots of them. My idea is that if a wind charge is hit by a projectile, it will drop as an item. So by capturing a breeze, and having a dispenser timed to shoot arrows or snowballs to hit the wind charge, you can build a farm for them.

It would make sense if they could go through blocks that players can go through, like tall grass and ferns. Also It would make sense if they went through leaves.

I think the wind charge is cool to make parkour maps or anything else but if you have an elytra it’s useless so maybe there is a way to make it stronger that would be cool

I think the wind charge doesn't deal enough knockback to entities to be useful for offense.

I think the breeze rod being crafted into 4 wind charges is great!

But it feels like a recolor of the blaze rod, I'd prefer the breeze rod to be a different looking item, something like a "breeze ball" for example, to differentiate it from the blaze rod and make it more unique. As for the mace, you could combine different materials like the wind charge or the "breeze ball" with sticks or a blaze rod to then make the stick of the mace, which could finally be the breeze rod.

The blaze dropping blaze rods makes sense as the texture of the blaze contains rods that spin around a head, though the breeze does not have rods, and that bugs me a bit.

wind charges should drop from breezes at 2-4 per breeze, plus a chance (30-50% maybe) to drop a breeze rod, and then give breeze rods other uses like brewing into a potion

At the moment Wind Charges feel really inconvenient to use. They feel very inconsistent and I think their blast radius is too low. The charges only effect you if you jump and launch the windcharge to hit a surface that is one block away or under you, otherwise they basically do nothing.

I think they should work more like how fireballs function in Hypixel's "Bed Wars" but without the block damage.

Wind charge on bedrock is slower than java, youll notice this if you try to MLG from a high place in bedrock, On java itll be fine but on bedrock the wind charge will hit you instead midair

Wind Charges are easy to use up quickly. A stack of 64 can disappear in just a few minutes.
Maybe they should stack up to 128 or even 256.

Please, mojang. This update is looking SO cool. Amazing features, the new mace, honestly it's just amazing. The Breeze and the Blaze are obviously similar, with breeze and blaze rods, the mobs themselves, and fire charges and wind charges. But if there is fire and wind, what about earth and water? What if you add elements to the game? No not the education edition stuff, fire, water, earth, and wind. If you don't do something like that, you might just leave the breeze and blaze out of place and awkwardly similar. This could make minecraft 1.21: The element update or something like that. It could be on the same level as 1.16! Also, great idea with the mace and wind charges working together. We want more complex combat like that.

I have a new potion idea called the Blast Potion that uses the Wind Charge in its recipe.
The Blast Potion is a new base potion which, if added to any potion, affects a very large area. This potion is a throwable potion and it affects a bigger area than splash or lingering potions. This potion spreads leaving a huge ring before it instantly disappears. It starts from one block and finishes in a radius of ten blocks away from the block it was thrown on to. Any mobs that touch it will be affected. If you want to avoid the potions effects all you would have to do is jump over it when it approaches. Be careful though because, if you throw the potion too close to yourself, you have to react very quickly. Once you throw it, it takes 1 second to spread completely before it disappears

I have also created a post about it. It says the same thing this comment says so you don’t have to read it. If you like this idea, please vote for it. Here is the link:

Since you get four Wind Charges from each Breeze Rod now, I think you should make it more consistent with Blaze Rods by only getting two Wind Charges per rod.

It would be balanced if the wind charge only stacked up to sixteen and not to sixty-four

Add the option for ejectors to eject wind loads, I believe that would be very interesting!!.

It would be really cool if a wind charge hit an unwaxed copper item, it would oxidize it by one level.

I know it's a bit late, but I'd like you to be able to use the wind charges in the secondary hand in minecraft bedrock since currently you can't and it's inate to change for example: the maze with the wind charges as you waste some time and it's uncomfortable. I hope you added that detail, thank you.
